Matteo
Matteo, born and raised in London, England, has always felt a deep connection to Brazil through his mother’s heritage. When he was fourteen, a trip to the Amazon rainforest revealed its stunning beauty and fragile ecosystem, sparking a strong sense of responsibility in him. Inspired by this experience, he and Carolina Nasr co-founded TREELOVE, a non-profit focused on reforestation, where every product sold helps fund the planting of new trees. Beyond his work with the organization, Matteo is passionate about educating his peers on the vital role the Amazon plays in maintaining global climate stability and biodiversity.
Carolina
Carolina, who shares a dual heritage of Brazilian and Lebanese roots, has always carried a deep and innate passion for the natural world. When Matteo approached her with his idea for TREELOVE, she knew she had to help him with his mission. Beyond her role in helping establish the company, Carolina is driven by a commitment to proving that thoughtful commerce can be a powerful force for global conservation and reforestation.
